A Cairo day tour to visit the ancient capital of Memphis and Sakkara with its step Pyramids of Djoser and Dahshur. This tour takes you further to the first Pyramids ever built. Itinerary:

• You will be picked up from your hotel by Merit Amun Egypt Tours Egyptologist tour guide, starting with  Sakkara areological site “the most important historical site in Egypt ” to  the visit of Step Pyramid of  king Djoser , the oldest major stone structure in our history . It was built in the 3rd Dynasty  around 4600 yrs , also we can visit wonderful pyramid of king Unas it is belong to 5th Dynasty where we can see the pyramids text decorated it is walls from inside with beautiful colors date back over than 4000 yrs .

• The next place to transfer to Memphis which was founded by King Menes, and  it was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years, also it was the first capital of Egypt during ancient Egyptian time , there we can visit Memphis open air Museum to see a lot of monuments date back to different times like  the Statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx of Memphis.

•  Next stop is at Dahshur  where you can visit the two pyramids of king Senfru the son of king Djoser, the Bent Pyramids constructed in Dahshur . it is consider a unique structure not only for being bent but much of its original outer case  limestone still remain. also we can visit and go inside the red pyramid of the same king and this is the first straight pyramid in our history , and all date back over then 4400 yrs.
