Embark on a memorable adventure to the spectacular Wadi El Gemal or Camels’ Valley in Marsa Alam, Egypt. With our two-night luxurious program, you will have the opportunity to explore enchanting landscapes, observe rare plant species, view ancient archaeological remains, and experience authentic desert life with a touch of comfort and luxury.
Day 1:
- The program kicks off with a luxurious travel from your hotel to Wadi El Gemal in an air-conditioned van, during which beverages, snacks, and light refreshments will be provided.
- Upon arrival at Wadi El Gemal, a local guide will be assigned to assist your camel riding expedition to the insides of the valley. This journey, laden with multiple stopovers, allows for plenty of opportunities to appreciate the stunning natural vistas that are indigenous to the region.
- Our journey leads us to some of the rarest plant species that adorn the beautiful landscape of Wadi El Gemal. You will have ample time to explore these unique flora.
- An energizing BBQ lunch awaits us in the serene environment of the desert, providing a delightful rest before continuing on our camel-riding experience, further delving into the valley’s scenic beauty.
As dusk falls, we set up camp under the starlit sky. These accommodations are provided by us, but should you prefer to use your own equipment, you are more than welcome to do so. A hearty, fulfilling dinner marks the end of our first day..
Day 2:
- Our second day begins with a wholesome desert breakfast. Post-breakfast, we resume our camel-riding journey for a spectacular natural viewing experience.
- Next, you will bear witness to the marvel of Egypt’s deep history at the archaeological sites adorned with precious stones such as emeralds, where you will also visit the ancient emerald mines.
- The next leg of our expedition brings us to the Sikait Temples and the remains of ‘Qaryat Al-Omal’, the employee’s village, providing a taste of the rich cultural heritage of the region.
- After exploring these iconic places, we appreciate another delicious BBQ for lunch in the tranquility of the desert. Our day further unfolds as we visit the traditional water wells in the region.
- As the day winds down, we return back to our camp for a relaxing evening and savory dining experience under the open, star-spangled sky.
Day 3:
- Our final morning commences with a hearty breakfast at the camp. After basking in the last glimpses of the desert morning, air-conditioned vans will be waiting to transport you back to the comfort of your hotel, marking the end of a truly unforgettable journey.
Note: Please bring any personal items, medications, or extras that you may need, as we will be spending two days in the desert with minimal access to stores.
